Access For Social Inclusion

Who We Are

A disability-led national organization championing rights, inclusion, and community-driven development in South Sudan.

About ASI

Access For Social Inclusion (ASI) is a national, disability-led, non-governmental organization registered in South Sudan to promote the rights, participation, protection, and well-being of marginalized and vulnerable populations.

At ASI, we believe that inclusion is a human right, not a privilege. Our work is grounded in the principles of equity, accountability, and dignity for all.

We operate across multiple states in South Sudan, partnering with communities, organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), government institutions, civil society, and international agencies to create sustainable, community-led solutions.

Our Story

ASI was founded in response to the significant barriers faced by persons with disabilities and vulnerable groups in South Sudan — including limited access to education, health, protection services, livelihood opportunities, and participation in decision-making spaces.

What began as a small movement led by passionate disability advocates has grown into a strong national organization championing inclusive development, disability rights, protection services, empowerment, and social transformation.

We were established to fill critical gaps, challenge discrimination, and ensure that communities actively participate in driving their own development.
