- Mission, Vision & Core Values
The foundation that drives our work, shapes our identity, and guides every decision we make.
Our Mission
To promote the rights, protection, inclusion, empowerment, and well-being of persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups through community-driven, rights-based, and humanitarian approaches that strengthen systems, build resilience, and create equitable opportunities for all.
- We expand access to education, health, protection, and livelihood opportunities.
- We empower communities to participate meaningfully in their own development.
- We advocate for disability rights, gender equality, and social justice.
- We strengthen inclusive systems, policies, and services at all levels.
Our Vision
A society where all individuals — regardless of ability, gender, age, or background — enjoy equal rights, opportunities, representation, and full participation in every aspect of life.
ASI envisions a South Sudan where inclusion is embedded in families, communities, institutions, and systems — creating a future where no one is left behind.
We believe in building communities that are inclusive, safe, resilient, and empowered.
Our Core Values
Our values shape our identity, influence our actions, and reflect who we are as an organization committed to empowering communities and promoting inclusion.
Inclusion
We champion equal participation, access, and opportunities for all — especially persons with disabilities.
Integrity
We uphold honesty, transparency, and ethical behavior in all our actions and decisions.
Accountability
We are responsible stewards of the resources entrusted to us and strive for effective, impactful results.
Equity
We work to eliminate barriers and promote fairness across gender, disability, age, and social status.
Respect
We honor the dignity, rights, and diversity of every individual and community.
Empowerment
We strengthen individuals and communities to take leadership roles and drive their own development.
Partnership
We believe in collaboration and cooperation with OPDs, government institutions, NGOs, donors, and communities.
Transparency
We maintain openness in our processes and communication, ensuring trust and credibility.
Our Motto
“Our work begins where people live, learn, and dream.”
This motto reflects ASI’s commitment to community-driven development.
We believe true inclusive development starts at the grassroots — where people’s daily experiences shape their needs, strengths, and aspirations.
