Access For Social Inclusion

About Access For Social Inclusion (ASI)

Empowering children, youth, women, and persons with disabilities to live fulfilling, dignified, and inclusive lives.

Who We Are

Access For Social Inclusion (ASI) is a disability-led national organization dedicated to promoting the rights, inclusion, and full participation of vulnerable groups, particularly persons with disabilities, children, youth, and women.

Established with the belief that “our work begins where people live, learn, and dream,” ASI works across South Sudan to address barriers that prevent individuals and communities from accessing essential services, opportunities, and leadership spaces.

We work through a holistic, community-driven, and rights-based approach that enhances protection, increases accessibility, builds resilience, and strengthens the systems that support inclusive development.

ASI collaborates with government institutions, OPDs, NGOs, UN agencies, and community groups to ensure sustainable impact and community ownership in everything we do.

Our Identity & What Drives Us

ASI believes that every person deserves dignity, opportunity, and a voice in shaping their future.
We champion inclusion not as a service — but as a human right.

Our identity is rooted in:

  • Disability leadership

  • Community empowerment

  • Human rights principles

  • Accountability & transparency

  • Partnership & collaboration

  • Equity for all genders and abilities

How We Work

We use proven, inclusive, and community-based methodologies that ensure sustainable development and meaningful participation.

Human Rights–Based Approach

We advocate for equitable access to services, social justice, and policy change that upholds the rights of persons with disabilities and vulnerable groups.

Community-Based Inclusive Development (CBID/CBR)

We support families, schools, community groups, and local structures to strengthen inclusive systems from the ground up.

The Twin-Track Approach

We promote disability-specific interventions while ensuring disability inclusion is mainstreamed across all programs.

Evidence-Based & Participatory Design

Programs are informed by research, community voices, needs assessments, and continuous learning.
